You have to admit, it seems strange that someone who registered 2 hours ago and doesn't own the game himself would give away 2 copies.

I mean it makes sense to doubt the authenticity of pretty much any giveaway on the site. Just because they don't have it in their account doesn't mean they won't send it though. I have given away games I don't actually own myself and don't even want. Plus not everyone does the buy as gift and send later thing for steam it can be much easier to just buy it as a gift for the person after they figure out who wins.
