Hello, after 7 years, I finished my university studies while working part-time.
Now I've been working full time for a few months and wanted to celebrate the ending to this chapter of my life by giving something back to the community.
As the forever DM in our group for many years, I just yesterday started BG3.
It is fun so far (almost like DnD ;)) and I hope that the winner really enjoys the game.

Congrats on finishing uni, it took me 10 years ;-) But then again, I had no idea what to do next so there was not that much incentive to finish it for a while. I hope you found an enjoyable full time job :-D

BG3 is built off the AD&D 5E ruleset so it's not surprising that it feels like playing D&D. BG and BG2 were based off 2E which was also nice, especially for me since 2E is my bread and butter.
