Not playing any browser games, so can't really help with that. I tried Town of Salem a few times though.

I once played a mafia game you can become Godfather. You were able to organize a racketeer group and rob banks etc. But while I was steping up on higher levels, other players have killed me in front of my gang. :(

I intended to start over but after a while, the website closed.

Don't really play video games on the web anymore, but there was a flash penguins defence tower game (Penguins Attack) that I really enjoyed (not giving a link since I don't know which sites are safe nowadays). Some levels were actually tough and fighting off the penguin apocalypse was always stress-relieving.
