In case you are not aware, today 71 years ago Hiroshima was bombed with a nuclear weapon.
Over the year quite a few nuclear weapons detonated. If you have not seen it, this video demonstrated when, where and by whom there have been detonations, If you do not know, guess the number of total detonations world wide before you watch the video.
And just because there have been very few detonations in recent year, keep the numbers of warheads in mind. Still sufficient to devastate a hemisphere.
If any of you wonder, I choose my username for Oppenheimer's early work in quantum mechanics, not his contributions to the Manhatten project.

Thanks Tiberius. :p
I'm proud to live in a nuclear-free country, though it has caused some tension with the US. They refuse to confirm whether any particular ship is carrying nuclear weapons, so we didn't allow any to visit.

Living in a nuclear weapon free country is nice. Sadly there are nukes in Germany, thanks to this.
