Celebratory dance for reaching a very small milestone for my curator.
Here is the second wave for me hitting 15 Followers. Thankyou very much and I'll be trying my best to get more dry content out. 1 a week is my goal but I can do more.
I'll be doing 5 giveaways per milestone, please let me know if they key you recieved is faulty as I usually have spares or the means to get more.
I look forward to seeing you digging through the trash with me my fellow racoons.
Don't look at these 0_0
I'm Serious
Fine, heres my Curator, if more people join/follow I'll do more milestone GAs, better ones for more significant milestones obviously

Wtf... O_o I had typed a medium-length comment but got an error when I tried to post it. >.< Ok, basically, I was saying that:
1- you've got a new follower because I like the idea of reviewing trash games. (and giving negative reviews when deserved)
2- I can think of one curator who never reviews games he was given keys for in a negative manner, but would instead tell the devs what should be improved privately. And this is so lame. I can't take his reviews seriously now.
3- I was wondering why you added House Flipper 'cause it doesn't look like shovelware to me.
4- Do you consider Jef a crap game? It's on my wishlist because I enjoy playing unusual games.

Thanks for following first of all.
My curator is for "indie" games. It happens to be that I gravitate towards reviewing shovelware because that's what I happen to have the most of. In all fairness, that week I'd been playing House Flipper non-stop and hadn't gotten around to reviewing my usual garbage, so I made a curation for that as well as it is was indeed taking up so much of my time.
JEF... It's an odd one. I don't have the game and I usually only give away games I already own (excpet hentai, I dont redeem hentai games) while JEF is not hentai it apparently contains "some mention of drug use and sex in the text of the game. There are some hard to find sexual imagery. "
While I don't mind some reference to it, I wasn't honestly feeling it so I passed it up.
On the otherhand... It looks legit, it looks funny.. I like the style and the character style. If anything is wrong with the game it'll be something you can't see by looking at it.
If I'm to hazard a guess it would be the plot, but that wouldn't be hard.

The reason I started this was because of my review of 2 games in particular.
First was Adventures of the Worm https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198137409505/recommended/681410?snr=1_5_9__402
I wrote this review and received a random friend request a week later (usually I'm pretty passive aggressive to people who do this as I genuinely hate it) and it was the developer of the game and he was gushing and thanking me and thanking me again. It was really nice.
The second one was of... https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198137409505/recommended/822550/#developer_response
Where I gave a negative review and the developer commented really nicely.

Not asking who, but the reviewer in question who would not write negative reviews. When he played the game and it was bad, would he write a good review or not write a review? As the private instruction is still admirable, despite being completely against the purpose of being a curator.

Wow, it's been almost a full week? Damn, I'm so sorry for the laaaate reply. O_o
About the curator, he would would write a positive review anyway. As far as I know, if a developer sends him a key for their game, it's a guaranteed thumbs-up review. I'm sure he's not the only one doing that but still, it sucks.
On a side note, I'm not sure why I'm interested in House Flipper. I went from "I don't care" to "hmmm this could be fun" even though it's not the kind of games I usually go for. Maybe it reminds me of The Sims, I used to really like building and decorating houses. In the same vein, not sure if you've seen it on Steam but there's also Barn Finders. One of my Steam friends said that it was surprisingly fun. O_o I certainly wouldn't mind if HF and BF ended up in a HB Choice bundle... because even on sale, I find them too pricey for what they are.
Anyway, thanks so much for taking the time to reply to my comment, that was really nice of you. :)

Honestly, if I was in the position where I was being offered a key to review a game I'd make sure I knew where I stood first. I'd probably ask if I accepted it if I'd need to make it positive. If so I'd probably reject it.
