The Village (2004)

A lot of people hate this movie. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

I'll struggle with this question because when it comes to horror movies I'd like a bit of comedy in it too; for example Shaun of the Dead and Tucker and Dale vs Evil are fantastic examples.
As for horror only I think I'll go with the original Saw movie and Blair Witch Project. For me personally suspense and thrilling moments create true horror; not gore/excessive blood/jump scares/monsters etc.
Thanks for SOMA giveaway, it's very high on my wishlist. Good luck to everyone.

Alien always Alien!

There is a reason why it is one of the classics :) I still watch it from time to time. Which reminds me that I really should play Alien Isolation at some point... Don't get me wrong though, sometimes I really love to watch something silly like Black Sheep (I heard that some still crap their pants when they hear 'Baa, baa')

Gotta love Brendan Frasier's The Mummy and I adore Evil Dead 3 (AKA Army of Darkness.) For zombie movies, it's the new Dawn of the Dead. LOVE Kurt Russell's The Thing.

Thats one of my favorite sci fi movies. I didnt find it scary though just interesting. Good mention none the less.

strange maybe I screw up something, I'm pretty sure it was sci fi, but I thought it had some scary elements about finding alien or something similar in space xD

Shaun of the Dead even though it's not really an horror movie

To be honest horror movies get me waaay too tense, to be watching something and not be able to interact or do anything... urgh >.<
Being more honest, even suspense and horror games I usualy play with someone around or watching, so I need to keep going XD

This is a great one.

Yea.:) Loved that film. Even remake Let me in wasn´t bad, but not as good as this one.
And if you wanna some not popular horror, I loved Art of the Devil 2, first one was really bad, third one was good, but imo not as good as second one. Maybe because I didn´t expect so much when I bought that film for about 1€, but definitely worth it for me.
