I'm in the same camp, I've heard it's really good but I effectively went from 7 to 10

I played it last year on the PSX. Interesting enough, I first installed Steam on my computer some 15 years ago because I wanted to play FFIX on my PC but ended up never buying it. Play it when you have a chance, it's long but incredibly good. I love the progression with gear AP and the skills they unlock

love this game its a toss up between 9 and 10 for the best final fantasy game. heard the port is bad but theres mods that really make the game pop so will be playing it with mods if i win
