oh man, back in the day i got SO excited for a new thief game . . . then i heard the latest wasn't really for fans of the first three. i've already played thief 2 but that was before steam was a thing. i'd definitely play it again!

I loved all the games in the series. The immersion in the story of the first two (and especially of the second) was extraordinary (for the times).
The last episode is different from the previous ones but different is the way in which games are made today, as they must be compatible with the console.

I've never played original Thief games, but heard they're pretty good =) I suppose this is my chance to give it a try ;) Thank you!
Also, while we're here, let's hear your opinions on Thief 3. Some say it's the best of three, some say it's the worst. What do you guys think?)

Well, I'm not entering(have the game on CDs somewhere... I think...), just dropping by to say this game is the best in the series. Thief: The Dark Project was good, but more as a stealth horror tomb raiding game. Deadly Shadows is great too, no matter what some purists say. It has moments. The orphanage, pirate's mansion... Haven't played that new Thief, so can't say a thing.
A grad occasion for you young ones to acquaint yourselves with "proper" Garrett.

Aah. I just recently farmed cards and TF2 drops hardcore to be able to buy Thief: Gold a few weeks ago during that Square Enix sale :D Time to attempt getting the sequel!

"Thanks!" ..... I think its well past the line to blacklist people just for saying "thanks" generically. So what, skim over them,,,But whatever, it your prerogative. I'm not gona enter, and frankly i don't give a damn if you blacklist me too.

I don't have a reason to do that. :) I am not fond of blacklisting, I just want to have actual conversations.
Also keep in mind that with the new notifications system, I have to go through endless unread messages which were simple "thank you/thx". I don't want that. And I just have no problem with someone entering without saying a thing. They can thank me once they've won!
In addition it's a check to see who's reading the GA description and who's ignoring it. If you ignore it, well, I do want to blacklist you.
