Hey Tcharr, just FYI -- I bought this from Humble and got a message that it's region locked and can't be redeemed in RU/CIS (plus some other countries). The full list:
AL, AM, AR, AZ, BA, BR, BY, GE, IN, KG, KZ, MD, ME, MK, RS, RU, TJ, TM, TR, UA, UZ
Now... you never really know with region locks, and I am far from an expert. I just wanted to mention it for awareness purposes.
I don't trust Humble, so I always click the "create gift link" button, just to see if they will show me some region lock info (rather than just clicking "reveal Steam key.")
And in this case, they had some region lock info.
I also checked SteamDB.info and there is a package for RU/CIS only.
Now, whether this key will work in RU/CIS (and the other countries mentioned, like Brazil) is really not clear to me...

The claim page says nothing about region locks, and the Humble Store page doesn't, either. https://www.humblebundle.com/store/final-fantasy-viii-remastered
Where did you see the region locks when you bought it? I am buying from NA, if that makes a difference.

Now I'm definitely confused, if we're both buying the same game from the same place at the same time and only one of us gets a region lock pop-up.
Hopefully the key will work everywhere, we shall see!
