Hi there, Battlezone. I just wanted to give you proper thanks because I won one of the recent BZ98 Redux giveaways. I only played the original Battlezone in an emulator. This game was on my wishlist, so double thanks.

I know you've removed me from your whitelist, but know that you're in mine.

Are the private giveaways part of event/puzzle/group?

Yes, I post them in public and known threads. Examples:

https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/eOYPH/positive-thread-giveaways/search?page=last

This year I'm shorter on keys, but I've also posted in the "Don't like bots", "Cozy Corner", and whatever thread I thought was nice. Past year I did 1-2 weekly, participated in community events (Community train and Xmas event). I also created the short-lived "Giveaways for parents, games for kids" - I guess because there aren't really that many keys around (bundled) of games for kids. Ofc a whitelist only now and then. I rarely do public giveaways because I am like Ozo2003, they give too much trouble and disappointment.

I used to make large personal event trains too, but never a puzzle.

The only groups I make giveaways for are "Delete key if it doesn't work" and "Lootboy SG" when I have doubts with a key. I don't enter groups based on ratio within the group, exclusive gibs every period, etc. Thankfully those two don't give much trouble (some disappointment) and they're so big I kinda consider them public giveaways.

Bleh, this sounds like a curriculum. Please don't feel obligated to put me back into your whitelist, really. My backlog is so big, there's no need at all. But be sure I'll try BZ98 Redux. It always reminded me of an oldie called Prowler (circa 1986-87?), self-boot 5.25" floppy on my 8088 with 640kb and CGA 14" display. Once I got the hang of the game I'd play for hours and days.
