Bring Back The Sun is certainly very simple. The hook thing is a problem for Sonucido: The Mage although it's a much more complex game. I still need to figure out how to communicate the game properly. I want choice and consequence to play a bigger role and try out different experimental game design approaches in certain areas - but this is only loosely communicated and I need to do a better job there.
