If you asking about habits of the Steamgifts natives;) I can just summarize this like that:

• short/medium giveaways for public and huge groups
• several days in small groups (2-3 days and more)
• private/hidden giveaways - as long you want

But mostly, you can do what you like, there's no strict rules etc. Almost always it will be someone willing for your gifts : )
