I really like to help giveaway creators with something (afterall they give stuff for free, you can always do something for them too is asked nicely, right?). One of my favorites was the invidual who was a writer, hadn't wrote for a long time but had decided to write again and maybe even offer his musings to some publisher. He / she just asked us to read some of the samples and to tell which one was the most interesting one and write couple of sentences why.

I love reading descriptions - maybe because I'm always trying to put something interesting, or to tell something myself =)
I think of it as one of the ways to communicate with people - why not use it? Honestly, here, on SG, I think I'm interested in people's thoughts or even funny gifs more than the games themselves =D

I prefer interesting descriptions that either tell a little about the creator, give personal impressions on the game, itself, ask something of the entrants, or simply make me laugh. I leave a reply in nearly every giveaway I enter, and I'd rather have something with substance to reply to instead of leaving a simple variation of "thanks". :)
