I'm interested in knowing if people who enter giveaways for this game will really play it properly, like with a wheel or maybe a controller and play it a lot. It's now about the 50th Project CARS giveaway I enter and it really bothers me that people that don't even use the game win it... It keep us, people who will really play it and enjoy it and who have experience in racing sim, from having a chance to win it.
Just a little rant I wanted to put out there...
Wheel not so much, I don't think there are that many that want or can afford one. But having a controller I think it is much more likely. However I do not agree with the point that without one you are not playing the game "properly" (although I admit that it would much improve the game experience).
As for the other aspect you raised, it got to be kind of the norm on SteamGifts that there is a very high probability for the winner of the game to not play it, but to have a nice "+1" in the library. So that being said, on this matter I also think as you do :)
Everybody is allowed to enter, not everyone has the time to play it right away or the money to have other racing games.
I entered 121 giveaways but that doesn't make me more deserving of it. Everybody should have a fair shot.
