Why weren't you allowed? I was 14 when game launched and I cried like mad to make my parents pay for it :P My brother handled the subscriptions while I saved pocket money to buy games myself. It's great to meet another fellow Classic player ;)

You talk about WoW and I'm getting WoW ad on sg. I feel I'm beeing watched :P
I have never played WoW. The idea of paying constantly to have access to the game was (and still kinda is) stupid to me. "why pay every month if I can pay once and play till the end of the world for free?" was how I thought back then (and to some extent it still holds true) not to mention all the F2P games. Right now, having a bit more $$$ to spare then when I was a kid and an ease to hande a subscription without asking a parent or any other older person I'm still hesitant to tackle WoW as I'm aware that if I'd ever pay for the limited access I'd end up playing that damn game for like 24/7 before my body collapses from exhaustion as I wouldn't like to waste any money :P

well considering that here in norway 1 month of wow game time costs about the same as 1 movie ticket i feel like i get good value out of my money :p

Oh you lucky Nords! Wish I could get those so cheap!
Well, actually, wait a minute. Are tickets expensive in Norway?

Well, sounds decent. Though I still have no idea how expensive is the ticket comparing to like real life stuff, food, housing, average pay, games etc...
