but isnt this game a MMO? how can it be traded im confused

That doesn't mean you don't have to buy it. There are four types of MMO fees: free, buy + free, free + monthly fee and buy + monthly fee.

This game has a monthly fee payment, and it's not allowed in here from what i hear.

The rules state that you cannot gift online game accounts, but it says nothing about gifting games that have a monthly fee as far as I saw in the giveaway guidelines. (Correct me if I'm misunderstanding)
The game itself comes with a free month for the user to test out the game beyond the trial level 20 cap so they will still be able to play, at least for a while, regardless. (Assuming it's a new Trion account). It may be a good idea to state that the game does have a monthly fee associated with continued play in the description, however. I know some people tend to opt in on whatever they see without checking a store page first.
[EDIT]: Also, this is a great game, so goodluck to those who wish to test it out. :)

Why wouldn't it? I got EVE here too.

There's no issue with giving this away...
It is, however, one of a [fortunately] dying breed of games that bites from both ends of the baguette...
Rift charges a fee to buy the software client, AND another to keep using it. At least if you win this giveaway, you'll only get stung once...
Thanks for sharing Wormpaste, but subscription based gaming is SO passé...

Depends what you're looking for in a game. Everyone has their own thoughts on the matter. I personally like (some) Sub based games because everything you want is generally already there; no need for cash shops for more inventory space or character slots to make a game more enjoyable etc. Plus (again with the few good ones out there- most that try aren't so hot imo) the content should hold you and should be being updated / have seasonal monthly events to be worth the continued fee.
Besides, $15 a month for "endless" entertainment... cheaper than going to a movie and getting popcorn and a drink once. XD
