usually used in response of fake giveaways: people registered 1 hour ago and giving away 10 copies of skyrim (a AAA game in that moment) just to troll.
or to bait people in the forums. example: http://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/6LC0O/5-copies-of-skyrim-baby-ends-in-5-days
later it was used by some people like a "generic thank you"
