So I watched the trailer, am I still supposed to be confused about what Burning Man is?

Oh okay, that makes sense. Just thought it was odd for it to be worded as Steam keys.

You should have told people that it's about a bad case of hemorrhoids!

Burning Man, in the shortest way I can possibly describe it, is basically a party in the desert.
It attracts a very hippie/bohemian crowd along with steampunk and general counter-culture artistic/creative types.
It's out in the middle of nowhere in Nevada so it sort of builds its own little city for the week-long event.
Vendors, inventors, sculptors, and revelers abound.
There's a giant towering man-shaped figure built from wood that's set on fire at the end, the eponymous "Burning Man" for which the event is named.

Wasn't Nicolas Cage in a movie with something like that? Didn't see it though.

Yep, "Wicker Man". Nic and a scarecrow made of wicker go out on a bender in the desert and meet a bunch of hippies -- they have a great time, but the man ends up on fire. It's very existential.
(Actually, I've never seen the movie -- but a friend of mine says it's hilariously bad. The 1973 original was Saruman's personal favorite of his own work, but I haven't seen that one yet either.)

Neat! I've wanted to go for years, but never have made the journey -- afraid it feels like it may be getting all commercial-ized-y now though... hopefully that's not really the case.

Interesting, co-worker just started packing his van to go this year... I don't know what he did with the school bus turned faux courthouse/dance arena from last year, but he's been working on stuff all year long.
