Payday 2 - Fun rpg mechanics and tons of depth of customization, plus superb gun play
Borderlands 2 - Way to many guns and tons of stuff to do
Catch the trend? If it has a 2 in the title it has to be good.

Battlefield 4. Because vehicles are fun ;-)

Payday 2 - One of the few games that include such DEEP gun customization and fun multiplayer heists
Killing Floor 1/2 - A great arcade type of shooter with zombies
Call of duty - Honestly? I only play it for zombies :P

Half-life series - I love the story, I complete the game every now and then

TF2 and CoD4, still the best ones to play with friends ;)
EDIT: and BO2 Zombies :3

I'd have to say my favorite FPS and TPS for the moment respectively are Crysis and Lost Planet. Crysis because it brings some interesting gameplay changes to the table, and Lost Planet because I like the environments and story and such (though Uncharted is a close second favorite).

I have sweet memories of Medal of Honor from my childhood;)

Doom 1, the game is like wine, old as fuck but still one of the best of the genres.
