I love horror movies but can't stomach thriller/horror games. My husband says tthis makes no sense so I usually whack him with a frying pan. Feel free to comment (as you are nott in melee/social disttance range).

Not many horror movies that scares. Some games are scary for sure, though. Amnesia: The dark descent is a game that scared me bad while playing especially at night with earphones on. I was scared to sleep. I almost quit the game without completing it but that hurt my ego so I did complete it it somehow but never replayed for the horror chills it would be giving. Return to Castle Wolfenstein gave me some chills when it first came out, though I did replay it several times. Haven't played The Beast Inside yet. Did you see Haunting of the Hill House?

yeah I'm trying to umm 'ease' my way into horror games with Alan Wake since I enjoyed Quantum Break which shares overlap.
I watched haunting of bly manor which is by far my favourite TV series now. I finally finished hill house but actually didn't like it that much (esp the poor kitten).
F.E.A.R is my ultimate challenge (or watever is the more visually modern version) for mebut I know amnesia is up there :D

I feel when im wearing headphones and playing a psychological horror game that the sound effects are what scares me more. Im also sitting in a semi dark room. It's scared me so bad that i was afraid to sleep later, but i do love playing them anyway. i love horror movies too. Thanks for the giveaway!.

i do'nt think i'm up for headphones yet, but we just got an oculus quest 2 and I couldnt' think of anything more terrifying :D

That would bring the horror more like real life and not sure i would be up for that. lol

Same here. I love horror movies. I do love horror games too but I cant play them because I get too scared.
Been doing this lately - me and my friends love horror movies, but as for horror games only one friend can play them without problems. So we let him play them and watch it as a "movie"
