I didn't read the book but I did watch the DVD series though I haven't got a clue if and how much that series is based on the book.

It's on my to-read list. I read a couple of pages and I remember being so impressed by the quality of the writing. I'm still not sure whether to play the game first or read the book.

Never read it but I loved the series when it was aired on TV some years ago and that's pretty much the reason why I want to try the game. :)

I've been looking for a hardback copy of the book at second hand shops for a while now so I can read it.
It's amazing how many Ken Follett books I see, but never Pillars of the Earth or it's sequels.
