fun fact 5?: so the main thing i love about wow is raiding, on peak i spent 5 hours per day, 6 days per week on raiding. to this day of the hundreads of games i have played, no game has given me the feeling i get when killing a boss for the first time in wow with 24 other people screaming like little girls on teamspeak, sadly i dont have many recordings of this.

My raid leader literally cried on Teamspeak when we got server first on C'thun :P Then in the next guild my raid leader cried again when we killed Lady Vashj (not server first this time) :D After constant wipes at 1% 2%, it was understandable to let tears flow I suppose :D
Ps, I actually cried on TS when Ashkandi dropped. I was 15 years old and I've been waiting for it to drop for 9 months. The whole guild celebrated cause they knew how much I wanted it :D

I think my guild, which was relatively casual for our server, had something like three Ashkandi drops in a month before the leading guilds had even one. On the other hand, it took us something like three months to see Neltharion's Tear, which all the mages/warlocks were clamoring for.

Our guild had major problems with weapon drops. Other guilds were giving Ashkandi to their dps offspec Paladins. I used Zin'rokh the entire time even though we had 1-2 other weapon drops from BWL and AQ but I kept my dkp for Ashkandi alone cause I didn't want to have competition (I also didn't want to hoard swords for the sake of collecting them). We got 2 drops in 9 months (I swear I am not exaggerating). The first one was claimed by the raid leader who happened to be our main tank, he even apologised to me so many times. I got the 2nd one. Your guild was one of the lucky ones it looks like :D

I vaguely remember us having an abundance of melee weapon drops. We may have had an OOC res shaman with Sulfuras earlier on; and we definitely had non-tanks working on TF while BWL was still the main raid. But it's been so long that I'm almost certainly overlooking something that failed to drop for our melee DPS.

We only got ONE Untamed Blade. I swear. Just one :P We started believing that it didn't exist, then it dropped. Then it stopped dropping again :P My poor guild :(

i stopped playing WoW a number of years ago now, but when I was playing, I wasn't able to raid properly because constant disruptions due to dinner etc. I did do a bit when I went to university when I had more control over my own life though :P.
