Star Wars Fact: In "The Empire Strikes Back" the opening scenes were filmed in Norway and the rebel troops on Echo Base were played by locals. The extras in the scene were played by Norwegian mountain-rescue skiers. As a thank you for their participation, Lucas donated to the Norwegian Red Cross.
