Did you know that Hungary is the only country from the 10 most successfull summer olympic countries and the only founder of the modern olympic movement which never hosted olympic games? The old ideas of olympics are long gone, now only money matters so not exceptionally rich countries has no chance.

Thank you very much for the game!
You should be glad that you never hosted the Olympics. Nowadays, they cost shit loads of money which the countries don't even make back. I'd rather see those funds be spent on anything else than a competition where a bunch doped athletes compete against each other :P

"The old ideas of olympics are long gone, now only money matters" this explains that aswell, olympics nowadays need show luxury instead of just the idea of sport. Also, if IoC wouldnt steal all the money from sponsorships, TV licences, tickets etc and would do a fair share with hosts then small countries could afford it aswell, countries which deserves to be host based on their sport history and results.

Well, that's what it would be like IF they did the things you said should be done. However, as we both know, that's not the case. Sports nowadays are a show even outside of the Olympics and that's somewhat annoying.
I myself would like to see smaller countries organize them, so that people can learn a thing or two of their culture, yet it's not happening. And if the option is, to organize and lose money I'd rather they don't.
