Meh. I know that for lots of people Gamergate stands for honest and unbiased journalism, but the whole movement got hijacked by trolls and Twitter spammers. Sure the media exaggerated the problem in order to deflect attention away from themselves, but the fact remains that a lot of "Gamergame" supporters were only in it to cause a shitstorm. While the original goal is still a very good and valid one, at this point you're just hurting your own cause by associating with the Gamergate name, because the first thing that comes to the average person's mind is a bunch of screaming 4chan trolls.
