I didn't see any restrictions on the page or the mail. This wasn't a key from a mass giveaway, this is a bonus key for purchases during their sale.

Yeah that's where most of the recent giveaways came from.
This is what it listed on another giveaway "The redemption deadline is January 31, 2019 at 10 a.m. Pacific time.".
You need to check the page for the key itself, that is where they normally list it.
