You likely won't get banned, but the key will be revoked. Just show support the URL that shows where you got the key. Anyways, you can choose to say that it wasn't received if the key gets revoked.
now, if you look at the linked account, you will notice its just an account for bundle games, what steam SHOULD do, is look at trade records to see what account (his main one) he is giving any cards he gets over to. then punish him.

its because a bunch of keys were hacked/stolen or whatever, if you try to activate they say you will get banned
