I used to watch the LOTR saga but then when The Hobbit came out as well I stopped, too much for 1 day. xD

I feel you! Gosh, really gotta watch that one again! Didn't this year yet! shock

Not every year, but I used to watch Die Hard on New Years Eve every other year :)

I wanted to watch that last year's on Xmas day, but I failed misserably... will watch it this year hopefully, any day of December will do! (because I've never watched it from beginning to end in one sitting... sad I know)

I like to watch The Thing around Christmas. It's a great psycholigical thriller/horror, made even better by cold, dark and preferably snowy nights. I also like Home Alone at this time of year, it's a fun family film with a Christmas theme running through it.
How about you?

Ah, I tend to feed the little girl inside around X-mas. I don't even know how to translate that one. In German it's "Drei Nüsse für Aschenbrödel". It's basically a bit Cinderella but not at all. (Wiki says: Three Nuts for Cinderella or Three Wishes for Cinderella or Three Gifts for Cinderella. There you go, pick one :] :D) So yeah, a tad bit different xD

Die hard 1 and 2 (and maybe 3), Home alone 1 and 2 - it just is shown on TV, so we watch!)

Not a movie, but a miniseries: The 10th Kingdom. A bit cheesy, but I came to like it as a kid. :D

A Christmas Story is still fun to watch for me.

I used to watch Christmas movies, but it has been many years. I think I'd give a go to "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and "Scrooged" this year. They're long-time favorites. Just for some cozy family time with my mom in the living room. We don't hang out for shared hobby time enough.
And thank you for the giveaway! Have a lovely holiday season!

Thanks. I watch Troll 2 on Christmas. And New Years... and Valentine's Day... Heck, that movie is good on any given day.

I'm pretty much a Grinch, don't have any Xmas tradition... I want to watch Die Hard 1 this year though :]

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone! Though it's also the perfect Halloween/anytimeoftheyear movie. :) Thanks again for all these giveaways!

There's no specific movie that I'll watch, but I always make sure to watch an animated movie or two on Christmas. They just really lift my spirits. :)

planning on watching Rare Exports on PC :)

I don't really have a christmas movie that I watch every year; to be honest I barely think of xmas, living alone and all ^^
Also, hi, it's Wolf from BLAEO-- nice to stumble upon you here :)

Wooooooooooooooooooolf! bounce
I would totally recommend one, but I don't even know if it is out there in English and if you would like something like it, so... I wont :D

You can always try suggesting it, I don't just watch movies in English-- you'd be surprised at the amount of languages I've watched movies in ^^

Well my x-mas movie of all times is Drei Nüsse für Aschenbrödel - which is not a German production, buuuut I don't know how to write the original name :D
Also it's a... ehm... fairytale? Yeah, guess so. Kinda Cinderella but not :]

Is it this movie? Three Wishes for Cinderella
If yes, I have to say I've never watched it and doesn't look very easy to get, but if I ever get the chance to watch it, I will :D
