I think so, too, it's probably because the free episodes add the base game to my account, and SG can't check the episodes since they're DLC.

Yeah had the same problem. You need to delete the free episodes from your account, which, you know... for a chance to win the whole thing, is up to you but it works.

This is a bug on steamgift's part. Fluffster's suggestion would be the only way to workaround it.
