I love this game, as well as the 1st part and can't wait for the 3rd part to be released. I would really appreciate if you join only if you intend to play it.

First one was cool - but the achievements bugged out on me, and even though I finished it on hardest difficulty, I'm missing weapons achievements I had to have to get that far into the game... so it's kinda funny to see, but also frustrating. Not going to go repeat the game for those extras any time soon, probably. Too much crud to play through still that I haven't touched.
The experience is what is important though I guess, rather than some little pop-ups to show I did this or that in a game. ^___^
I still wish it could've been fixed... maybe the deathy edition will be worth a go when I have free time to play. Haven't tried part 2 ever, so I don't know how close it is to 1, or if it is better, etc.

You worry me now Superfabs. I'm addicted to those little pop-ups and can't let it go if all of them don't pop up. :P
I still haven't played the steam versions of the games but i intend to go through them soon so i will be ready for the 3rd part.
Also did the achievements bug on the simple version or the warmastered one?

It was the original. I think to avoid the problem for the most part, people said don't alt + tab, and make sure it stays fresh (like if it's minimized or anything, reload your game). Some other things, but I alt+tabbed a lot, so that is probably what did me in on the ones I missed somehow.... I just wasn't paying attention, or thought they were invisible, like some tend to be for me on occasion.
I am not too sure if newer one has the same issues, but it is a widespread bug for the older one.
