also I made a small visual novel thing with some of my characters, if anyone here might be interested in that, it's fairly short and can be played in the browser (though i think the browser version can lag slightly?)

Nice ren'py! Unusual characters and premise (a hoarder monster that is the hoard, neat), overall amusing and some nice jokes (the written everything down to not repeat, i may start doing that), good work. I was only disapointed it was linear, more like a comic- you could try some interactivity with a few choices and multiple endings next time.

I'm glad you enjoyed! As this was the first visual novel I made, I tried to keep it fairly small in scope to make sure I'd actually be able to finish it. But now that I've finished a project and I'm more confident working with ren'py, I'll try to make my next projects a bit more ambitious, and add some branching paths or different endings in the next one! Might try and make a sequel to this one at some point! I already have a few ideas for certain story elements for it, and I think I'll try to include some choices and different paths too! Thats great! You could try going for simpler before complex- could be a simple 2-3 different endings, or like oldschool adventure games multiple ways to 'fail'/end so players try things differently until they get to the right or best ending.
