Hello everyone,
This giveaway is a humble bundle link. Nevertheless, I do plan to add the winner as a friend on Steam.
If you want to leave a comment, please write about one of your favorite 2D games that you have played and some of the reasons you like it.
One of my favorite 2D games is Terraria. Terraria is a vast game with a multitude of enemies to fight, weapons to wield, items to craft and hoard, and biomes to explore. I have spent more than one hundred hours playing that game, and I highly recommend it to any gamer.

Hands down, I cant decide between Secret of Mana or Secret of Evermore. Both have a great story and similar fighting system. Secret of Mana has a bigger variaty on weapons/upgrades but Secret of Evermore use Ingredients for Magic (and there is alot of it).

I vote for Secret of Mana too.:)

Battle of Olympus was hard but enjoyable experience. Cannot even recall how many times I played the game in the days. Gratitude for back to the ages sprites.

Thank you kindly, orangesupr!
There are many 2D games I love, but the only one that comes to mind right now is Rogue Legacy (does it count? I'm not sure haha). I spent many hours griding my family and seeing how far I could survive with one character. Not a fan of the hardcore mode they put in, but everything before that was perfect.

I think the Megaman Zero series is definitely one of my favourite set of 2D games. I always loved Megaman games, but with Zero they tried to experiment with a metroidvania-style spinoff featuring Zero from Megaman X. They ended up pulling it off really well, and Zero is by far the most fun Megaman character to play as, so having an entire series dedicated to playing him is brilliant.

You covered my PC pick already with Terraria! :D
I'll choose another then: Castlevania Portrait of Ruin! I like most of the handheld Castlevania games, but I think PoR it the best. It's got a lot of charm, great artwork, a unique story, very likeable characters, and has the same "Metroidvania" gameplay style that everyone loves.

I love Terraria. And I'm doing some pixel art works there. You can see my Iron Man on my Steam profile. There isn't many more screenshots, but I have some good ideas for the future, just need more time :)

Mercenary Kings, it's probably the best side-scrolling shooter I've ever played. Amazing art style done by my favorite pixel artist Paul Robertson. Pretty decent and fun gameplay. Being able to collect materials and craft weapons, biomods and other things is pretty cool as well. Not to mention the ability to build weapons by combining different parts together.

I tried it a few times, but it's too difficult for me. Hopefully in the future I will improve and try again.

One of my favourite games... Chrono Trigger. It was one of the first RPGs I played, and it still feels like that. Good graphics for the time, charming characters, awesome music... Good story!
