Not sure if fists were involved, but it was a pub fight between two guys, and me and another guy were pulling them apart.

mmm yep, it's been a while but i've been in a fist figt one time, well, It's over when I took the guy and knocked him down. No a particular painfully fight for me and this guy but from this time he respect me everytime. Well, it's a long time ago i was 12/13.

I was on (real) fist fights even on purpose during a LARP :P It happened two times. Don't remember how many times it was to protect myself IRL though.

But one was more of a teeth vs fist fight.

His teeth.
My fist.
But the other way around- i mean, after the first drunk punches and kicks the fellon tried strangling my friend so i jumped at him doing the same- thats when bit my fist. Literally, my hand was closed and he tried biting it all.

Was more effective then expected- i mean i didn't felt anything at the moment (hot blood, such a bad bite didn't had as much strength as one done to a open hand) but...
...the wound after got ugly. Like really ugly. I had to treat it for infections- it was more like some rabbid dog bit me then a person.
I guess not even god knew all that was on that mouth.

I had more oportunities of fighting and threats then actual fights and still more then i wished. Im a pacifist.
Btw the bitten hand one was the only one where i purposely put myself into one- trying to stop a ongoing fight where my friend would certainly get his ass handed to him.

Funny thing is how short they were and how i remember pretty much every move, every second.

I was in a fist fight a few times during my school years, and a few times after that. Mostly victorious, but during the penultimate fight (not really fists, I'd say) I was not that lucky and got my jaw broken. In two places. Afterwords there were nearly two months without proper food, since I could'nt chew, and minus 17 kilos (52-17, oh my). Oh, and that fight happened during my first week at the university.
Thus I learned one shouldn't get into a fight when there are 30 people VS 3, even if one's intentions are good and he's trying to protect his friends. In the end we all suffered heavily that day

At that time many young people think man in fist fight was cool and never thought the result after the fight.Just like japan's comic "クローズ　ZERO".
