I can't stand scary games, so I hope somebody else will enjoy this! If you want to return the favor, please recommend me games on Steam like Harvest Moon or Recettear!

Yeah, that's definitely the best thing to do. I backed Wild Season when it was on Kickstarter, and it's taken them forever to progress. I won't care if the end result is good, but I do kinda regret throwing my money at them so freely lol.
I have Re;Birth1, but thank you for the suggestion! I wish I liked it more than I do - it has a lot of cool concepts, but even with enemies weakened, it feels like one huge grindfest with visual novels in between. Either the normal enemies are no trouble or the bosses are just an endurance test until EX attacks are ready :(
Stardew Valley and Fantasy Farming look really cool, but both have only been Greenlit so far :(. I hadn't heard about SeedScape, and it's website says the expected release date is Q4 2015, so thanks for the close match there!
I do have Don't Starve, but that's much closer to a creepy survival game with some farming elements. Don't worry about using the internet, though - more than anything, I appreciate that you took the time to look!
