I once was on vacation in Vienna with a few buddies. In a bar we met some friends of mine from my old hometown. Since that was more than 1000km away and the only week they and I were ever there I couldn't believe it at first. Small world. I've never met them since.

Not the craziest, but recent. A few weeks ago, my wife was at her office (she's a psychologist) and was supposed to finish up around 9 PM. After 10 PM she wasn't home, so I started to worry. There was no answer in any of her phones as I kept calling untill around 11PM. As I got more worried, I tried cheking her facebook, e-mail and her site's history to see if she had acessed it recently or to see if I could get any clues as to wheater she was ok. When i saw the recent search results directing people to her site, one result freaked the ever loving sh*t outta me. It read something like "sexual abuse in psychologist's office". Seeing that, and still getting no answer on her phones, I ran out immediatly, grabbed a taxi and went to her office. Got there around 11:30 PM, raced up to her office just as her last patient was leaving. I was worried nuts, but her last patient turns out was pretty bad off that day and for his safety, the consult had to go on for far longer than usual.
In the end, I was just grateful she was safe and sound. The irony is that the oposite (the delay and worry at least) had happened to her a month before for similar reasons. She still gets fucked up results that link to her site though.
