Not quite sure about what you want regarding "checking up" the games, so I'll offer a quick review of each.

From a quick glance, the first one reminds me of Dungeons 2 & 3, or the Evil Genius series, just that I can't really see what's the end goal in this one is, and from what the reviews say, it seems the devs don't truly know either. It doesn't look like anything to write home about, really.

The second one looks better, it feels like Carrier Command: Gaea Mission. But it would probably do it some good to have some kind of campaign mode. I like the idea of being able to choose between playing RTS and FPS but I wonder whether that means any of the aspects wil suffer as a result.
