This is a puzzle-heavy Adventure, something along the lines of Myst, best I can tell.

It was a great day...time at the pool, and a burger & shake afterward. Ah, it's the simple things that please!
Your Steam profile description is top shelf, BTW...is the avatar drawing self-portrait?

That's great to hear! I was scrambling, trying to get everything in order to whip up a 4-course meal for 4-turned-5 people, because my friend from Sweden is staying with us for a few days, but it turns out that they went out for Chinese, instead, so I get to do it today, which is nice, because I'll have more time.
Thanks! I made part of my living as a writer for a time, and that pokes out every now and again; I fluctuate between stylized and snarky, and that's the former. As for the avatar, it's an artist's conception of what Mother Kojiros might look like, as nobody's ever seen one in the wild. It was drawn for me by my "daughter" in Indonesia; she's very talented with a wide variety of styles. I used help her with her homework - because how many people grew up around Sikhism enough to be familiar with it? - or life problems, or just whatever; she's such a bright and lovely girl.

I agree that the game does have a slight Myst vibe, but after checking out the store page and user reviews I wouldn't say your description is accurate.
To anyone wondering: it's a very short (1-1.5h) point&click game with still images and narration in style of walking simulators. There is some puzzling, but it's very light, like in most point&clicks.

Thanks! I doubt that I'm going to get to playing it before the giveaway ends, so that is very helpful.
