As one of these giveaway games I've actually played I'd say it's good.
Like, not as good as CK2 was in its day, it doesn't have the mix of realism and utter insanity that that game had, and its new mechanics range from moderately bad (inventory management for artifacts) to very good (stress - a mechanism to encourage roleplay). But still fantastic.
Bit of a learning curve if you're new to Paradox games though, but I'm sure you priced that in!
This is what most people have said about the game, haha. I have a measly 600+ hours in CK2, so I'm always curious about what it's like 'on the other side'. Thanks for sharing :)

I'll try to play it after finishing Baldur's Gate 3, which will take a lot of time, I guess..
I hope it will be sooner, but.. I spent almost 300 hours it RDR 2 and still need to cover half of the plot. Slow gamer as is. At least I enjoyed it to the fullest xD
I feel your pain there. I have such a huge backlog but I always like to get the most out of my games, I'm still on Tears of the Kingdom! Have fun whenever you get round to CK3 in any case :)
