I remember playing this years ago on a phone. It was fun at first, but you quickly reached unreasonable paywalls, where the power scaling was exponential, and I was calculating that you'd need to spend hundreds (if not thousands) to be able to make significant progress.

Apparently, the Steam version has the problem where they removed the microstransactions, but did not rebalance the rest of the game. I couldn't quite understand from the (majority negative) reviews if it is made too easy, or if the later parts of game are still impossible without microstransactions (which don't exist anymore in this version), and with this game being so long and repetitive, it doesn't seem there is anyone who has even completed this game. Still, it would be fun to see how this game continues.
