Ex Machina is a nice, relatively recent movie. :-) Although this is more of a conversation drama than action.

You're looking for action stuff? Phew. 24 and Prison Break are my favorite shows of all time. Also good are Arrow, The Flash, House, Sleepy Hollow and The 100. That's just my personal opinion though.

Funny you mention 24, I actually finished rewatching that just after MGS was released few weeks ago. Prison Break was one I never could get fully into saw some episodes but it didn't keep me in.
Arrow is actually one I have been interested in since I saw it on Netflix a long time ago, Should probably start watching it:)
