Hey Sumnium! In the past when we've had accidental region-locked giveaways, the practice has been to link to the (non-region-locked) replacement and then keep the region-locked giveaway as a side-cart.
But ultimately there's not a big difference between this and what you did. So I guess it might just be up to what Fiddler wants to do.

I've enjoyed the movies and it motivated me to read the books. They're on my read list. I'll also listen to the audiobook voiced by Andy Serkis - Gollum on audible)
