My previous comment before the update: I just noticed that the game will be free to play on launch. I wanted to make you aware in case you weren't that beta keys and games that will be free shouldn't be used in giveaways on SG as mentioned in our Guidelines.

I believe that if they are purchase disabled in the Steam store, or removed from Steam, they will have a zero P entry fee.
There may be other reasons. Somebody can correct me or elaborate.

More specifically, games that do not have a price will have a zero P entry fee as that is how the entry fee is determined, the base price of the game on the US market. Games that are removed will no longer have a price, but may be manually changed by cg such as BioShock 2 after the remastered edition came out but strangely BioShock 1 was left at 0. Games that have yet to launch may or may not have a zero P entry fee, it depends if the game is yet purchasable on Steam with an associated price. Games that transition to free to play will also change to zero P entry fee.

Hey there! Yes, I saw that section of the guidelines and submitted a ticket to make sure there were no issues with this giveaway. I was told this is fine, but would just be taken off of the giveaway list once the game launched on Early Access. Hope all is well and no toes are stepped on! :)

Greetings :) No problem at all. I'm new to support so I'm still learning a few things. I'm going to edit my original comment so that way it doesn't prevent members of the community from entering the giveaway to help with testing.
On a side note I'm actually testing for this game already. I haven't put in a lot of time though. I'm a Brawlhalla player so the jumps for getting back to platforms are pretty different and it's taking some time to get use to. Anyways, I do wish you guys the best with the game and I'm looking forward to the launch. Hopefully it turns out well and I can switch to it from Brawlhalla.

They've been relaxing the rules regarding beta/f2p keys ever since free-promo games got added back to the giveaway list, so it's not like it's something that would have been known before recently. At the moment, user-end, it's still somewhat unclear what is and isn't permissible, so it's good that you got the clarification for us (as otherwise, the absence would have encouraged basic users to post your message in your place).

Activating via a key also keeps the game permanently in your library, as normally F2P games are removed from your library list when not installed.
