Feel free to recommend me some comedy heavy/snarky/witty TV shows. Some of my personal favourites being Veronica Mars, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, House M.V., Firefly, Gilmore Girls, Black Mirror, The IT Crowd and Lost, in no particular order.

Is this game on sale somewhere?
My recommendation would be the Young Pope, the following scene summerizes everything the show is about:

May the werewolves protect you.
Try the Middleman .. a much underrated series with only one season unfortunately. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1122770/
Have you ever seen Pushing Daisies ? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0925266/

Never heard of the Middleman, sounds like a fun idea, I'll add it to my list! And thanks for reminding me of Pushing Daisies, I've been meaning to watch it FOREVER and keep forgetting about it.

You like many of my favorites. :D I just finished Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency and I definitely recommend it. Fits well under the witty category.
Also, if you're a fan of Gilmore Girls, have you watched Bunheads also by Amy Sherman-Palladino? Canceled after just one season, but I loved it while it lasted.

I tried Dirk Gently a while ago and I've no idea why, it just didn't click with me. Kind of a bummer, since I really expected to like it and was saving it for a rainy--damn-I-need-something-to-cheer-me-up-and-stop-thinking-depressing-thoughts-- kind of day... I'm considering giving the novels a go, because I enjoyed the zany atmosphere and characters (+ I do love D. Adams).
Never heard of Bunheads though, thanks!

Are we talking British Dirk Gently or American Dirk Gently? You could always try the other one :p
That reminds me I should definitely recommend Episodes (the Matt LeBlanc thing) (reminded because the British Dirk Gently actor appears in that one too), that show is incredibly snarky if nothing else.

Since someone already mentioned Black Books... Scrubs is absolutely fantastic. Dr. Cox is pretty much the paragon of the series for this type of humor, but a few other characters are strong in this area as well.

It's a cartoon, but check 'Archer'.
