if you activate Steam key from Bundle Stars or GameBundle, it does activate as "Battle vs Chess" for everyone. Bundle Stars or GameBundle CD key do not activate as "Check Vs Mate" version for anyone regardless them saying so.
"Check vs Mate" version is available certainly only from Canadian, USA and Mexican Steam Stores. CD key versions from North American stores such as Amazon.com might also be "Check vs Mate" version.
It is possible to own both of these versions, and they show up with their correct titles in Steam libraries worldwide. For example I have them both in my Steam library
I have copies of "Battle vs Chess" 211050 version I would like to give away, but I wouldn't like to do it with wrong ID. But I guess there is no choice then...
This creates some issues. Anybody who already owns the "Battle vs Chess" version can still enter this giveaway. Due to the bundling 211050 is the version many of the users already own, and I'm quite sure that most of the GA's are for 211050 version.
It would make a lot of sense that SG switched the giveaway listing to 211050 version and hide 211070 to be support-requested gib only. Then SG would also automatically detect the users who already own the 211050 version of the game instead of 211070.

I would agree if SG adds the 211050 one as another game. I actually own both in my account, and if the two can be both found on SG then I might make GA for both games.
I have gifted the North American 211070 to others in Europe, it activates fine.
