I'm reading the Long Earth series by terry pratchett and stephen baxter right now. very good sci fi series with a little of pratchett's signature humour.
Np, hope you like them, definitely one of my favorite series. I actually made a mistake, it's only 13 books, not 14. (well, technically it's 14 books but you'll only find 13 because the 14th is like an extra chapter at the end of the 13th one)

Just finished High-Rise by J.G. Ballard. Absolutely amazing. A film adaptation is coming out this year too.
