Easy answer, Bugbear(Developers of Flatout 1 and 2) dont have the Flatout License, so they searched for an other License that they can use to make a nice Flatout 3 combined with other good games...now we have a great arcade racer that is build from "3 games"...Flatout, Burnout and Trackmania...and i love it^^...
