Won it some time ago, managed to play it for a few hours and I can only bring praise to 11 bit for this jewel!
Everything changes when you're not actually looting some scavengers or bad guys, but other people, just like you, who are trying to survive.

I strongly recommend this and Frostpunk as well!

Not sure about the expansions, but I bet they stand up too.

EDIT: Well, checked Steam's reviews of the DLCs for both this and FP and they seem to deliver the worse at the end. :(
