No pets at the moment. I love cats, but my wife is allergic. She loves dogs, but I do not. My avatar is a friend's cat who as a kitten was found on the White House lawn and taken to a shelter.

My profile pic is my wonderful pup Bronson (wonderful when he's not constantly barking, biting and pooping). He looks good in the pic there (especially with the stylish 'stache and a glass of shiraz) but as he is now he's in desperate need of a trim.

I also want a pet rock but the state the dog's in, I don't think I can take on such a long term commitment

I had two little birds in my childhood: I don't know how they're called in english, here in Italy we call them "Diamantini" or "Bengalini".
