Reminds me of the oldschool RPG's from the early 90's, very impressive for a one man team (if I assume correctly ;>)... dumb questions have to be asked, so: Do you plan on a Steam release some time ;D?
This was inspired by 2.5D FPS of the 90's like Doom/Duke Nukem 3D/Hexen etc., for sure! And yeah, I'm just a one man team. I plan on putting it on steam, depending on when their new steamdirect system comes online.
Nice, gotta admit though that I first thought more of games like Ultima Underworld than Doom ;>. I'll keep my eyes on it and hopefully am able to add it to my wishlist soon ;P, good luck!
Hey, to each their own, I know this style isn't for everyone. Mid 90's is about as far as I can technologically go if I want to make a game of this scale by myself, and I love the old art style. I appreciate you checking it out though!
As far as I can see, the game look good enough. Can't say more till I can give it a try.
Don't know how much work could it be for you, but I would recommend being able to toggle the enemies graphics from old to new generation just for the lulz.
