For almost ten years, I struggled to find stability in my life, moving from place to place in search of a sense of belonging. During that time, I entered a relationship that initially seemed promising and full of potential. However, things began to deteriorate after we moved in together following two years of dating.
I stayed in the relationship, believing things would improve and that my partner would change. My hope was to see more understanding and consideration for how I approached life and managed our shared home. Coming from a strict upbringing and carrying personal trauma, I placed a lot of importance on having a clean and structured environment. Unfortunately, my needs were not met, and over time, the relationship began to take a significant toll on me.
I started to lose touch with who I was. The hobbies and interests that once brought me joy became a source of shame, as I was often told that the things I enjoyed were “cringe.” My hygiene also began to suffer, as my partner was not concerned with maintaining cleanliness, and my requests for shared responsibilities were often dismissed or met with criticism. Eventually, I stopped asking.
My social life also declined. I felt guilty for spending time outside the house and gradually withdrew from my friends. My entire world became centred around my partner, leaving no room for myself or my own needs.
After six years of this dynamic, I reached a turning point. I realised that I could no longer continue living that way, so I made the difficult decision to leave the relationship. I moved out, taking my dog with me—a constant source of unconditional love and support.
Since then, I’ve been focusing on rebuilding my life and rediscovering who I am. I’ve returned to my old passions, such as gaming, photography, and digital editing. I’ve always dreamed of becoming a content creator and building a community where people can connect and support each other. Recently, I decided to take a leap and start streaming on Twitch.
Streaming has been a positive step forward for my mental health. While I’m still on the path of rebuilding, I’ve already seen improvements in how I feel. I currently stream three to five days a week, and while my audience is small—typically two or three viewers at a time—it’s incredibly rewarding to interact with those who join. Even having just one person say hello during a stream makes my day so much brighter.
Balancing this with a full-time physical job isn’t always easy, and there are days when I stream to no one, which can be discouraging. However, I remain committed to my goal of becoming a content creator and creating a supportive online space. My dream isn’t to be the most famous streamer, but rather to build a loyal, engaged community that values connection.
Today, I’m asking for your support. If you have a moment, I’d be grateful if you could check out my Twitch channel, say hello while I’m live, or leave a follow. It costs nothing but makes a huge difference to me.
As a thank you, I’d love to share some leftover game keys from previous bundles that you might enjoy. Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and I hope you have a wonderful day. Keep smiling!
Hi, I’m Adrian.
After years of struggles and leaving a toxic relationship, I’m rebuilding my life and pursuing my dream of being a content creator. I’ve started streaming on Twitch, and while it’s small right now, it’s been a big boost for my mental health.
If you could stop by, say hello, or leave a follow, it would mean the world to me. Thank you!

If this is your type of games then it's fun. They have big community and thousands of hours into the game, especially when you have sterling gear :P
